Mike Gerling

Industrious, adaptable

Mike’s role involves collaborating with healthcare industry partners and subject matter experts to plan and develop accurate, concise, and informative content tailored to diverse audiences of healthcare professionals, with an emphasis on innovations and advancements within the scientific and medical fields. Specific content includes research articles, medical educational materials, clinical tools and practice guidelines, regulatory documents, and more.

Mike is a graduate of the University of Guelph, where he completed a B.Sc.H. in biomedical science and a M.Sc. in human health and nutritional science. Following his time in Guelph, he completed a second M.Sc in anatomic pathology and cardiovascular epidemiology from the University of Calgary. Prior to joining CTC, Mike was a board-certified Pathologists’ Assistant, Assistant Clinical Professor in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, and the Education Coordinator for the Pathologists’ Assistant M.Sc. Program at the University of Alberta. In his free time, Mike enjoys being active, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
